Occasion Photos is a Sussex wedding photography business managed by husband and wife team, Stephen and Victoria. While Stephen takes the photos and shoots the video, Victoria organises the diary and the accounts. Sometimes both may attend your event to shoot photos and video simultaneously. You can read our blog here.Although currently based in Worthing, West Sussex, Stephen and Victoria have also lived in Brighton and Eastbourne and know Sussex very well. They have two children and love walking on the South Downs and by the beach. As well as photography and video, Stephen is a musician and songwriter who, for some reason, also enjoys running marathons!
We specialise in weddings, but we are happy to photograph any special occasion or event. We can photograph you, your pets, your children, at home at work or at play. Our style could be described as informal photo journalism (reportage), but we can shoot strict formal if you desire. Watch this video to see what we get up to on a wedding shoot.
Your photos can be presented in colour or black and white and in any format you prefer. However, we are big fans of the printed photobook and we use Apple to print fantastic books. You can have a minimum of 20 pages and as many photos on a page as you like. We design the layout and add titles and text as appropriate. If you prefer, of course, we can supply individual prints, a traditional wedding album or all your images on CD for copyright free use.
We can record your special day or event in full High Definition (HD) quality. We can even film in 3D if you prefer! There are no huge cameras getting in the way either. Today, broadcast quality video can be filmed on a small handheld camera. Once the event is over we edit the video adding titles, text, transitions between scenes and effects if you desire. If you have a special song (perhaps the one you had your first dance to, or an ‘our tune’) we can add this to the soundtrack. It’s also possible to include a slideshow of photos on the video too!
The finished product can then be presented in a variety of ways. If you have a Blu-Ray player we can supply the video in HD on a Blu-Ray disc. If you have a standard DVD player the video will be downgraded to standard definition. We can also supply the HD video on a USB stick to insert into your TV or computer. We can even upload it to a special private channel on YouTube. You can then distribute the link to friends and family.
